Abri wins Housing Association of the Year at WhatHouse? Awards 2020

01 Dec 2020

In November 2020, Abri was awarded Gold for Housing Association of the Year, as well as Silver in Best Starter Home Scheme for our homes at Daedalus Village, in the 2020 WhatHouse? Awards!

The WhatHouse? Awards is the largest event in the UK new homes industry, and celebrates the very best new homes.

Housing Association of the Year
This award is judged on design and build, value for money, as well as management and marketing. WhatHouse? also looked for examples of innovative solutions to help buyers onto the property ladder or into rented homes.

Your Shared Ownership Event, designed to help aspiring home owners discover Shared Ownership, and find properties across the South of England, was just one of the solutions provided for our customers. See the photos from February’s event >

Our fantastic new community, Woodgate in Pease Pottage, is a great example of our joint ventures with private housebuilders such as Thakeham, to deliver a collection of homes suitable for a range of people. Discover Woodgate >

Abri has been recognised by this award for our long-standing history of providing affordable homes, and commitment to tackling the housing crisis by delivering more high-quality homes for more people.

Best Starter Home Scheme
Our new homes at Daedalus Village, Lee-on-the-Solent were awarded Silver, as they offered high-quality, value-for-money homes to suit a range of budgets.

Delivered in partnership with Wates Residential and Homes England, this collection of 200 new homes is available to buy through schemes including Shared Ownership, designed to help more people onto the property ladder.
Built upon the former HMS Daedalus airfield, this new community has been thoughtfully designed to preserve the area’s heritage. Discover Daedalus Village >

We’re absolutely thrilled to accept both of these awards, and to continue helping more people find their dream home through schemes such as Shared Ownership.
